A native of Macon, GA, Lowe attended Asbury College after high school and began as a piano performance major but declared an Education Major at the end of his Junior year. After college graduation he moved to Atlanta, GA where his interests in music and beauty both continued and he moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and began volunteering hair & make-up services back stage at a number of charity events, fund raisers, and celebrity driven events. A phone call from a number of producers won him his first major "credits" including working with the cast of Queer as Folk, as well as working for Ellen DeGeneres as her personal stylist during season 3 of her daytime talk show. From there, Lowe garnered the attention of a number of publications for holiday and seasonal beauty tips, and began writing for a number of publications across the country. Lowe is also a close follower and graduate of Anthony Robbins Universities which he says "helped my growth personally and professionally!"
During the years of 2000 to 2004, Lowe took a partial hiatus from hair and served as Marketing and Sales Coordinator for brands including Clinique and Erno Laszlo Skincare, where he managed multi million dollar territories for Macy's, Nordstrom and SAKS accounts. He has also been responsible for major product launches and event campaigns for leading beauty brands such as Artes Medical, Clarisonic and Xtreme Lashes just to name a few. He currently resides in Beverly Hills, CA and is often featured on KCAL News at Noon for beauty segments and continues to be featured, quoted and published in hundreds of magazines, websites, and news articles around the world for his work as a beauty expert.
