Hair static

How many times do you walk into a room only to reach out and shock the first person you shake hands with? It seems to be worse in fall & winter months when the air is dry and arrid. Hair suffers the same "shock" of the season with uncontrolled fly-aways that seem to gravitate to any wall you're standing beside.

To prevent static electricity, here are a few tips.
  1. Lightly spray your styling brushes or combs with an anti-static spray before styling.
  2. Stroke hair with a fabric sheet (Bounce, Downey, etc)
  3. Keep a fabric sheet in your tools & accessories drawer, as well as your wardrobe drawers
  4. Be sure you have appropriate moisture balance in your hair by using shampoos, conditioning and styling systems appropriate for your hair type, and the season.
